Body: HBCU students, backed by PROPEL and Apple's Racial Equity and Justice Initiative, are gaining real-world experience through the Arts & Entertainment Industry Accelerator, pushing boundaries and embracing their authentic selves. This innovative program equips aspiring artists, musicians, and creatives with the skills and connections needed to thrive in the competitive entertainment industry.

Liza Montgomery, a recent graduate from Xavier University of Louisiana, and Emmanuel Strickland, a rising R&B singer from Tennessee State University, are just two shining examples of the program's impact. Through workshops designed to identify their strengths and "superpowers," Liza discovered a passion for documenting the stories of people of color through her art. Meanwhile, Emmanuel gained a deeper understanding of the "behind-the-scenes" aspects of the industry, shattering misconceptions and fueling his artistic vision.
